I have know idea why it took me so long to review one of the best CD's cds 2010. This album picks up where its predecessor left off and takes it to a whole other level. For me the whole project is about "Out Of My Mind, Just In Time". Amazing song, in fact if there were no other song on the CD I would still be just as happy with this project. As a bonus, the rest of the songs are also engrossing, including the lead single "Window Seat", "Can't Turn Me Away", and "20 Feet Tall". It took me some Molybdenum hours brought Erykah song, but the learning curve here, "New Amerykah Part 1" for more information ...

In contrast to New Amerykah Part One (4th World War), which was digitally produced and political in tone, New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh features lush live instrumentation and taps into Badu's emotional side by thematically focusing on romance and relationships. "We used a lot of analog instruments...harps, strings, drums, piano, and even a Theremin, to give the album that sonic feel," says Badu. "There's a strong undercurrent of bottom, a rumbling to these songs that feels good to me. It feels like a hug."
